The well-known Albanian press analyst, Andi Bushati, considered the
pre-edited electoral videos as propaganda prepared by the political
parties for the media.
On Top Channel’s “Shqip”, Bushati declared that this election campaign has found reporters repeating the same mistakes that were noted on 2009.
“It is propaganda. In 2009, there was a mea culpa by all well known journalists of the country, who said that they had made a mistake that should not be repeated. Today they are hiding and this is a scandal”, Bushati declared.
According to him, this is unacceptable, because the pre-edited electoral video materials are manipulated and cannot be served to the public.
“The candidates pretend to be performing their electoral campaign… they assign their own militants to fake questions on the road. This gets edited on tape and then is sent to the TV stations. What TV director would accept such an absurdity”, Bushati said.
“It is not important if this was done by Rama or Berisha. This is a relation that must be sincere on the screen that connects them to the people at home. Taking a pre-edited tape and broadcasting it, is a service done to the politics. This is the way I see this matter, a matter that should be solved between us, without the politics”, he added.
