Bushati in Washington, meets US Deputy Assistant Secretary Mitchell

The Albanian Foreign Minister, Ditmir Bushati, met with the US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Europe and Asia, Wess Mitchell.

Mitchell valued Albania’s contribution in NATO and in the coalition against ISIS, and also for preserving stability in the region.

He congratulated the Albanian government for its efforts in implementing reforms, fight against corruption and against organized crime.

Minister Bushati expressed his gratitude for the constant assistance of the USA, and thanked DAS Mitchell for their contribution in improving relations between both countries. Bushati underlined the commitment of the Albanian government to be a determined partners of the USA.
