The Town Center of Fushe-Kruje has taken the name of the US President
George Bush. In honor of the US head of state that visited this town on
June 10th 2007, the municipality put a statue in the town center, where
the President was greeted with enthusiasm four years ago by the local
residents.
Prime Minister Berisha said that the meeting with Fushë-Krujë residents was the culmination of the European Tour for the US President, and that best welcome expressed the friendly sentiments of Albania towards the representative of the American nation.
In the inauguration ceremony were present US Embassy representatives, who valued the visit of the US President in Albania as a sign of the great friendship between both countries, a cooperation that is increasing everyday.
