Burgaj: Safer borders

During a seminary that is being held in Durres about the illegal traffics and the war against them through the strengthening of the border security, the General Chief of the Albanian State Police, Hysni Burgaj, declared that Albania is approaching to the safest countries of the region as regards the maritime border security against illegal traffics.

He mentioned the good work of the inter-institutional border control, the positive results in decreasing the traffics in the maritime area. The seminar has gathered police directors from the region, such as from Italy, Greece and Montenegro, countries that share maritime borders in the Adriatic and Ionian seas.

Besides the Police directors, in this seminar there were also representatives from the embassies in Albania.
