Burgaj meets Italian vice Chief of Police

Burgaj declared that whoever commits crime in the Albanian and Italian territory, will always be brought to justice and punished.

Burgaj identified the fact that 74 Albanian citizens have been extradited to Italy recently, for committing serious crime in our neighboring country.

Cirilo declared that the cooperation between the two countries has started in difficult times, and according to him, Albania and Italy have cooperated in territorial control, investigation and intelligence.

By the end of the meeting, the second person in charge at the Italian police signed a cooperation agreement with his Albanian homologue.

This agreement consists of cooperating in the surveillance of the marine and aerial territories and the prevention of the cultivation of narcotic plants.
