Bulqize school collapses

The elementary school in Bulqize is closed after a classroom wall collapsed, fortunately when no children were around.

The school had 60 elementary students and 10 preschool children. The damages started during the construction of a road near the building.

Heads of Fushe-Bulqize commune addressed several times to the Ministry of Education and Directory of Emergencies, after damages in the school became evident.

The commune asked for all teaching to be interrupted in the building. The damages started appearing in 2008, but now the school is unusable and dangerous for the children.
