One Bulqize mineworker left the hunger strike due to his deteriorated health conditions.
Limon Isufi left the strike in its ninth day and was urgently taken under the doctors’ control.
The head of the Syndication Confederate, Kol Nikolla, declared that the situation of the mineworkers is very bad, and in the underground of the galleries there is lack of oxygen.
The family members are staying outside the gallery, concerned for the health of the protesters.
The owner of the Austrian Decometal Company, also owner of the Albanian ACR Company, Mrs. Skatche Depisch, asked the miners to accept the dialogue and end the strike. She declared that they had fulfilled the request of 700 mineworkers for a pay rise of 20%, and that the building for the wardrobe and showers will be finished within a short period of time.
