Unidentified persons today shot with firearms aast police officers in the hilly areas of Shkodra were carrying out an operation against the cultivation of narcotic plants.
According to the police announcement, around 10:00, in the place called “Bjeshka e Parus”, these people shot in the air, with firearms, when they saw the police officers who were conducting a control of the territory in the Shkrel administrative unit, for the cultivation of narcotic plants.
The operational forces of the Shkodër Local Police Directorate and the “Shqiponja” Special Force, directed by the Director of the Shkodër Local Police Directorate, immediately went to the assistance of the local Police.
By order of the Director General of the State Police, the National Security Forces Shkodër Unit and special groups of RENEA were sent by helicopter to assist the local Police.
