The Shkoder Police arrested Mhill Demaj, 57, resident of the Grune e Re village, Shkoder.
He was arrested because as Reeve of the Brucaj village in the Pult commune, he did not notify the competent institutions for cultivating narcotics in this village.
Police found and eliminated 31 parcels with 16.300 plants of cannabis. Three people have arrested for shooting against the police in the first days of the operation.
In seven days, police has found and eliminated more than 100.000 plants of cannabis, a similar quantity to the one cultivated in Lazarat and destroyed by the police.
