The Albanian Parliament had other harsh debates this Thursday.
The former Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, accused the government of breaking the oil embargo with Iran, which, according to him, is a very bad move against the most important partners of Albania, the United States and Israel.
Berisha demanded the establishing of an invstigative commission to investigate these violations, and declared that the government’s silence proves their implication.
Prime Minister Edi Rama admitted that the embargo has been violated, but according to him, this happened when the Democratic Party was leading the country. Rama presented customs documents which showed five violations of the embargo with Iran in March 2013.
