British Ambassador: Will support Prosecution

The new British Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Albania, Nicholas
Cannon, held a meeting with the General Prosecution, Ina Rama, in the
framework of the the introductory meetings with the Albanian institution
leaders.
The General Prosecution informed the British ambassador about the Prosecution’s work and the commitment of this institution for increasing professionalism, for implementing the law and for avoiding any type of extralegal impact on the justice institutions. They also discussed about the problems that have been identified in the justice reform.
The British Ambassador expressed his support of the law enforcing authorities in Britain to the General Prosecution, and the readiness of the diplomatic body for helping the General Prosecution’s office.
