6 citizens were fined for not respecting the 14-day quarantine, after returning from the UK, Albanian authorities announced.
They were fined 70 000 ALL ($600) each, after being found outside the house by police officers.
From 01.01.2021 until 05.01.2021, the Border Police services, during the interview and verification of persons leaving Albania, have found 6 citizens who have violated the mandatory self-quarantine and tried to leave through Rinas airport to their destination, authorities said.
The Border Police Services added that they did not allow these citizens to travel and each of them was fined 700,000 ALL.
