Britain and Germany warned Kosovo and Serbia that if they will allow
ethnic tensions in their borders, they will harm their opportunities for
EU integration.
In a joint declaration, which was made public by Kosovapress, the German Foreign Minister, Guido Westerwelle and his British homologue, William Hague asked Prishtina and Belgrade to end the crisis in their border.
“Serbia and Kosovo must find a diplomatic solution that recognizes the borders of Kosovo, improves the life of the citizens from each country and helps them for their EU membership”, said the two ministers, adding that if both countries will not do this, will lose a historical chance.
