Currency fluctuations of international markets have already shown their
impact in Albania, with GBP dropping to 166 ALL and Euro to 137.3.
“This is also due to the summer season, when the exchange rate is influenced by a higher number of tourists”, says Rinald Gjyli, currency exchange expert.
The USD is the only currency gaining weight against GBP, EUR and All. Experts expect the tendency to continue in the future.
Britain voted last weekend to abandon the EU, which caused a new panic wave around the financial markets.
