Brace: Entire Albania is like Bulqize

Referring to Top Channel’s coverage of Bulqize, “Shqipëria Tjetër”, Brace declared that what is happening with our natural wealth is the most typical case of abusing with what should belong to everyone.

Continuing his speech, Brace attacked the Prime Minister, as the man who defends the most corruptive practices in the country.

“Every time that someone in the Parliament attacks corruption with arguments, he faces family insults by the Prime Minister or the Jozefina Topalli”, Brace declared.

Brace mentioned the oil business as another example of corruption and abuse with concessions.

“Berisha has given with concession, for 25 years, the biggest oil fields of Albania, without taking any measure for the environment and the working conditions, which have affected the health of thousands of Patos Marinza residents”, Brace declared.

Brace added that these companies, paradoxically, do not pay a single tax to the state budget, with the pretext that they are investing in the oil infrastructure, which in fact hasn’t changed at all, since the fall of communism.

As another example, Brace says that there had to happen hunger strikes by the Bulqize miners, for letting people know what was going on with the concession of the chrome reserves. Brace added that the companies profit millions from chrome, and they don’t invest in the miners’ working conditions, letting them die one after another.
