Deputy of the SP in power, Erion Braçe, said today at the start of his speech in the Assembly that the brother of an Albanian deputy was arrested in Germany a few months ago for drug trafficking, which brought the immediate reaction of the opposition deputy Gazment Bardhi.
“I’m asking, whose brother was detained in Germany months ago for drug trafficking?” The brother of whom?”, said Socialist MP Brace.
While the head of the DP opposition group, Bardhi, intervened with some remarks from the bench, Braçe addressed him saying that “ask this question of mine within your group to clarify”.
“Corruption until 2013 was bloody. Corruption was the clearest expression, analyzing the strategy, steal by killing, and kill by stealing. From 2013 onward, it is investigateable and punishable,” said Brace, referring to the previous Democratic administration.
He continued: “Show me a minister, in two governments, from 1992 to 2013, who was placed in front of the judiciary, or a mayor, tell me, one of those who robbed the country from the morning till night. This is the change that you cannot accept, because they have the expression stuck in their head that they cannot be touched. There is no way to justify that ‘there is still no justice for the explosion of Gërdec and the murders of January 21’, saying that ‘this is how the system was built at that time'”.
