Border with Greece is opened, Athens takes steps back for reception of Albanian ships in ports

The border between Greece and Albania was open today at 10 o’clock in the morning.

Anyone wishing to travel to Greece only needs to have a valid biometric passport, as well as fulfill the obligations imposed by the Greek government regarding anti-Covid measures.

Today the flow of vehicles was small, as many passengers had not managed to fill in the plf form on time, but from tomorrow there is expected to be greater movement.

Until June 28, a total of 1500 people can move at the Kakavija crossing point, while at Qaf Botë, 250.

Kakavija will be open from 07.00 to 19.00.

Meanwhile, Athens withdrew without giving explanations, the opening of Greek ports for Albanian cruise ships, severely damaging the tourism of the Saranda area, as there are thousands of tourists who travel every year from the Greek island of Corfu to Saranda and vice versa.
