After four hours of blockage by a defect in the Greek computers, the Kapshtica border checkpoint finally came to normality and
hundreds of vehicles and buses were able to continue their journey.
Women and children stayed for many hours under the low temperatures, waiting to cross the border and refusing to turn back.
After the Greek side notified that there was a problem with their computer system, the Albanian side demanded a quick solution to the problem.
Although it was very difficult to stay in the long waiting lines, for most of the emigrants it was more difficult or even impossible to return.
This weekend will mark the end of the long queues in the Greek border. The flux will increase, because the Greek schools start this Monday, and all companies start working.
