The body of Corporal Zarife Hasani, who died during an explosion at the Adaze base, in Latvia, has arrived today in Tirana, received by her relatives, the Defense Minister, Olta Xhacka, the Albanian Chief of Staff, Bardhyl Kollçaku.
Zarife Hasanaj was declared a Nation’s Martyr after she fell on duty during a training mission. A farewell ceremony was held in Latvia with the representation of 10 countries, part of the Enhanced Forward Presence mission.
A homage ceremony will be held tomorrow at the Palace of Congresses, in the presence of high-level government officials.
