Black Sea assembly, Albania takes over presidency

Albania has taken the presidency of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation.

In this framework, in Tirana started the 38th session of the assembly, in which were present around 100 MPs from other member countries and 30 Albanian and Turkish businessmen. The Albanian Parliament Speaker, Jozefina Topalli, as President of PABSEC, presented the reforms and economic progresses of the country and invited the Turkish businessmen to invest in Albania.

“This new partnership between the domestic businesses and all Black Sea members and Turkey, with the Parliament Speakers of Black Sea countries, is a strong and extraordinary economic strength to be admired. I am sure that this will be not only a successful economic forum, but also a real accelerant that will enable you to see Albania more closely. For getting to know Albania, touch it and work closer with this country, for your benefit as foreign investors and that of the Albanian businesses”, Topalli declared.

 PABSEC is holding its three-day meetings in Tirana. The 38th plenary session focuses on main topics such as “information technology and communication, as  an incentive for stable economic growth”, “improvement of the tax system in Black Sea member countries” and the “Cultural, education and social issues”.
