“The activity of the Pan-National Football League must begin this year.
You must sit with the Kosovo Minister of Sports and make the necessary
projects. Now we have the infrastructure. A Mitrovica fan can come and
watch a Flamurtari-Mitrovica match in Vlore, or the match
Prishtina-Tirana. All Albanian teams should be included in the league”.

This is the proposition that the Prime Minister Sali Berisha made this Friday at the government meeting for the initiative “Let’s unite together, let’s unite with Europe”, considering it the best project for an excellent future of the Albanians in the region.

This initiative was undertaken years ago by the Red and Black Fans and was published on January4th b the Red and Black Alliance, but with a small difference: not in 2013, but one year earlier.

“We must start the championship within this year and hold wider dialogues between the federations, the clubs and fans”, declared Redi Ramaj, executive director at the RBA.

But is it possible to organize a Pan-National League?

Top Channel contacted with the President of the Albanian Football Federation, Armando Duka, who underlined that this idea has been discussed and has the support of the AFF.

But according to him, there’s a legal obstacle, since the statuses of international organisms prohibit this.

The Kosovo Football Federation is not a full member at the UEFA and FIFA. Albania has the right to organize a football championship only within the Albanian territories.

According to Duka, the desire of both Albanian states is not enough for the realization of this, but they also need to respect some rules and statutes of UEFA and FIFA.
