Berisha’s family wealth

MP Taulant Balla declared that Elvana Hana, niece of Liri Berisha, is another billionaire of the “Blue Block”, comparing them to the communist elite which lived in a special block during the regime and were informally called “blockmen”.

“I want to tell the Albanians that the close relatives of Sali Berisha’s family are also billionaires. The uncle of Berisha’s children, Agim Rama, has billions of wealth. The niece of Berisha’s wife, director of the Insurance Institution and Health Care, Elvana Hana, also has billions. We reiterate our request to Sali Berisha, so that he can tell what businesses has helped or consulted Argita and her mediator, Shkelzen. Who are the owners of these businesses”, he declared.

Balla asked the Prime Minister to explain the undeclared wealth of the Prime Minister’s children, and to resign if he has no answer for the people.

“We have another question regarding the latest privatization of Berisha’s government, The privatization of four hydropower plants. We want to know if Shkelzen Berisha was the adviser of one of the companies that could be the winning one”, Balla underlined, repeating the usual appeal.

“We tell Sali Berisha that he is obliged to answer the Albanians, or he will be held responsible for corruptive enrichment. He must take his responsibility and resign, to open way a full and impartial investigation to his family”, Balla declared.
