The Albanian Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, promised to reduce taxes even
further, as the best way to face the world crisis and as the safest way
for the positive economic increase of the country, and the opening of
new jobs from business.
Berisha held this stance during a meeting with the small businesses that are interested in the European network of enterprises, what gives to businesses a real opportunity to have new contacts and make it meet the novelties of the European market.
“Albania has focused and will focus on the economic growth for its economic reforms and the new jobs. Every appeal for increasing taxes is destruction for jobs. Every tax level that increases destroys thousands of jobs. I guarantee the Albanian and foreign businesses that not only their taxes will not increase, but they will decrease even further. We believe that your money are more valuable for the society and the citizens than for the public case”, Berisha declared.
Prime Minister Berisha guaranteed that businessmen for a constant dialogue between the government and business to facilitate their activity, since the small and middle enterprises are considered in every country the main generator of jobs. Prime Minister Berisha appealed the European Commission and the international financial institutions to increase their help toward small and middle businesses, in a time when there are limitations with loans.
