Linda Rama: Between Family, Work and Albania’s Future The Albanian Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, appealed the opposition to vote and lift the immunity on August sixth.
He asked for more reflection about the objections made by the international community and declared that the Socialist Party is trying to rule from the minority with their package.
“This is a condition for making the minority to rule, and this will never happen to this country. The times when a minority rules this country are over. If we would accept this, Rama’s next request would be to elect the Prime Minister with 84 votes. These are his standards. Rama withholds the immunity for a very close group of people, who know that this party, by following these methods, will never be in power, and for this reason they want to rule from the minority. This practice is absolutely impossible”, Berisha declared.
