Berisha visits Israel

Peres welcomed Berisha and valued the good political relations between the countries. He considered this visit as another contribution for the further improvement of these relations.

Berisha considered the political relations between the countries as excellent, and guaranteed the Israeli President for the determination of the Albanian government for deepening cooperation in all fields of mutual interest, especially in agriculture, education, tourism, energy, technology, information etc.

Berisha presented the reforms that have been undertaken by the Albanian government and the important achievements in a series of areas.

President Peres valued Albania as a model of religious tolerance and coexistence, especially for the friendly sentiments towards the Hebrew people.

Prime Minister Berisha visited Israel with an invitation of the Israeli PM, Benjamin Netanyahu.
