Berisha visits Albanian soldiers in Afghanistan

Berisha has been visiting Afghanistan in the last 24 hours, his first
visit to the Albanian troops deployed there for many years, as part of
the NATO.

Berisha’s blitz visit in Kandahar, where the Albanian commandos are being deployed, was holed a secret for security reasons.

Besides the Albanian soldiers, Berisha’s agenda plans visit with high rank NATO leaders in Afghanistan with details that have not been published yet, for security reasons.

The Albanian troops are on a peace keeping mission, and they have received best evaluations from the central NATO headquarters in Afghanistan. Berisha’s visit in Afghanistan comes a few weeks after the death of Captain Feti Vogli, who was killed on the line of duty, while corporal Alexander Peci was seriously wounded during a peace keeping mission in Kandahar.

The footage of Berisha’s visit will be made public this Sunday, after his return in Tirana.
