Berisha: US support for rule of law consolidation

The Albanian Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, held a speech in front of his
MPs about the visit at the United States and the meeting with the US
Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton. Berisha considered his visit to the
US as very important and succesful.
“With State Secretary Clinton we discussed about the cooperation relations between the two countries in all areas. It was a unique occasion for expressing the deepest gratitude for the US support to Albania, in the efforts to build and consolidate the rule of law. What the US expects from us is the consolidation of values that both countries share with each other”, Berisha underlined.
He added that in this meeting they discussed about war against corruption, removing the immunity, the political climate in the country, the EU integration and many other topics.
