Berisha to Rama: Let’s remove immunity

The Albanian Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, declared that the majority is
making its efforts for compromise regarding the Electoral Reform, while
he invited the Socialist leader, Edi Rama, to decide and remove the
immunity of high rank officials.
“They are afraid of their own, that’s why they oppose the removal of immunity”, Berisha declared in the Democratic Parliamentary Group meeting.
According to Berisha, the immunity removal is an issue that serves to the citizens’ interest, so he invited Rama to not listen to what he called “Council of Billionaires”.
Berisha also declared that the increase of wages and pensions was realized without debts, and he underlined that the Albanian government is among the fewest in the world that have increased wages and pensions in this time of crisis.
“The investments in Albania have created jobs. The foreign investments in the last three years have reached 1 billion USD”, Berisha declared.
