Linda Rama: Between Family, Work and Albania’s Future The Albanian Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, declared that the Budget 2013
is the biggest in the history of Albania and reaches 410 billion ALL.
“The Budget for 2013 is the biggest in the history in Albania, and it reaches 410 billion ALL. Its goal is to increase your well-being, dear Albanian citizens, and to increase the incomes in your pockets and wallets for the 820.000 Albanian families, and to essentially improve the education of your children, your health services, your rods, aqueducts and decisive investments so that Albania can become a developed country in 2017”, Berisha declared.
Berisha added that the goal of the Albanian government is to increase pensions and wages in the public administration. Berisha also added that this budget is supporting the health system as never before.
In today’s plenary session, which is expected to be a marathon, the Parliament will review every article of the Budget 2013, and it expects harsh debates between the majority and the opposition. The New Budget reaches 409 billion ALL in expenses. According to the majority, it aims to reactivate the economic growth and to leave the crisis behind.
The opposition considers the budget 2013 as a budget of crisis, where the public debt increase makes the government unclear with its figures.
