Linda Rama: Between Family, Work and Albania’s Future The Albanian Prime Minister inaugurated today a medical plan factory, from where he expressed his support for farmers.
During his speech Berisha declared that his cabinet has planned a package of laws that is very adequate to this business category through a series of subventions.
“We will double the surfaces planted with sage. We have hundreds of families today that receive additional incomes by the medicinal plants they collect. The government has created a very adequate legal framework for them. The government will subvention seeds, and the farmers will organize the protection of plantations from destruction”, Berisha declared.
The government leader declared that agricultural exports reach 30 million USD, a number that can be multiplied with 20.
Then Berisha promised a further commitment of his government to increase the economic growth and create new jobs, which, according to him, can be reached only through infrastructure investments.
“We will do everything possible so that the business climate will improve. We will do everything for employees to get rewarded with higher wages. We will do everything to encourage investments. Every investment that will be made from now on will be without any customs fee or VAT” Berisha declared.
“Employment increased with 30%, and we will creaet 30.000 new jobs. Very soon we will start the Devoll cascade project which will employ 4000-5000 workers. We also have other HPPs”, Berisha declared.
