The Albanian Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, promised to increase the quality of education, tourism and to support farmers.

Berisha was invited to celebrate the 100th anniversary of a newly restructured school of Ishm, where he reiterated the investments made by the government for the education, and the increased wages of teachers, which will continue even during the next mandate.

I guarantee teachers that we who raised their wages with 150% in six years, will increase them with the new mandate to not less than 700 USD”, Berisha declared.

Berisha believes that the highest number of foreign investments in the next four years, due to the new fiscal laws and the improvement of the infrastructure will consolidate tourism as an important branch of the economy.

Berisha inaugurated a road in Shijak that connects the city with the Gjepalaj commune and that will give farmer quicker access to the markets.

“We are determined to build a very modern irrigation system. We are determined to fund with development grants in order to improve agricultural production”, Berisha added.

The Prime Minister declared that on June 23rd, the Albanians will trust to the Democratic Party once again, since this is the only political force of the kept promises, the party that made the country a NATO member that liberalized the visa regime, guaranteed the economic growth and doubled wages and pensions.

Berisha paid homage to Ibrahim Kodra’s tomb, and used this moment to attack his political opponent, Edi Rama.

“I am honouring today the genius of the Albanian painting, Ibrahim Kodra. I also want to pray and ask God to save the Albanian left parties from the failed painter, Edi Rama. Albania was saved by the united right wing”, Berisha declared.
