Berisha reacts about SMI decision to leave government

“A wide political debate spurred after the news that SMI might leave the government. My position has been unchanged, that every political force makes the choice that they like. Certainly that for me, the government is a responsibility that becomes even bigger before the elections. In this case I want to guarantee the voters that nothing will damage the government’s determination to organize a free and honest electoral process, in full accordance with the Electoral Code and the Constitution. I guarantee the citizens that the Constitution is very clear about any constitutional problem, and it will be fully respected. I remain dedicated and I am working with all my energies and for the best interest of my citizens”, Berisha declared.

The Parliament Speaker, Jozefina Topalli, who was commemorating the April 2nd martyrs of this city, declared that any political force is free to act upon its will.

She underlined that she is optimistic about the victory of the DP in the next elections, and she declared that Rama has signed for a strong Constitution with the DP.
