Berisha: Rama, blockage scenario

The Albanian Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, accused the Albanian
Socialist Party, Edi Rama, of being the man who has blocked and is still
trying to block Albania’s EU integration.

According to Berisha, in such cases the Constitution clearly allows real democracy to be implemented through a referendum.

“We are dealing with a very ugly act. Three laws are blocked for personal reason. But we have the Constitution, which gives a solution to this”, Berisha declared.

Salary income tax removed

Berisha announced that a new measure will decrease taxes for small wage employees.

“Soon you will vote in Parliament the law for reducing income taxes on all employees who are paid for less than 30.000 ALL. It will be completely removed, zero”, Berisha declared.

The Albanian Prime Minister refers to the tax for wages 30.000 and lower, although he mistakenly used the term “income tax”.

The government leader declared that the meetings of the opposition show the chaotic situation of his opponents.

“Together with Fiqiri Xibri there were two communist parties, one of Nexhmije, represented by her son, and the other by Vito. These re the latest novelties from them”, Berisha declared.

Promising a free and honest electoral process, the Prime Minister declared that Socialist Rama is following the same policy in process for distributing mandates according to districts.
