Berisha: Our economy confronted crisis

The Albanian Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, declared that the economic
situation in the country show that there is a 20% increase of foreign
investments, compared to the same period of one year ago, which not only
indicates that there are more jobs for the Albanians, according to the
Prime Minister, but also proves that Albania is facing with success the
harshest crisis of the last 80 years.

Berisha added that there are 420 more foreign and domestic businesses that operate in Albania only for the first four months of the year. Berisha declared that the business freedom will boost the Albanian economy in front of a crisis that is expected to continue.

The Albanian Prime Minister said that thanks to the government reforms and public investments in infrastructure, by opening new ways to the market, Albania is increasing the economic stability. He also declared that they will end once and for all the high internet price issue.

“We will open 1200 free internet centers, same as we did with the expensive phone conversation prices.

Berisha told the Albanians that they should feel lucky that these reforms cannot be blocked by the opposition leader, Edi Rama.

By mentioning the hydropower concessions, Berisha said that they will employ 20.000 Albanians and will offer lower energy prices for Albania.
