Berisha: New jobs are a priority

“All our efforts are and will always be to open as many new jobs
possible. In the next 4 years we will open 250.000 new jobs.” For PM
Berisha, this is an important decision of the Democratic Party to
realize the project “Albania, a developed country”.

During the inauguration of a 13 km long road that connects two communes with the town of Gramsh, the Prime Minister declared that the main condition for development is the construction of infrastructure. During these years, according to Berisha, the government has paved 10.000 km of road and has employed 58.000 people.

“Building roads is creating jobs, because it gives to investors the opportunity to invest money everywhere in Albania where there is modern infrastructure. We base our employment promise on this, because we promise to build roads, aqueducts and irrigation canals within the next mandate throughout Albania”, Berisha declared.

The two other sectors that will have new jobs, according to the Democratic Party paln, are tourism, with 40.000 jobs, and agriculture. The Prime Minister declared that in the last 4 years, 43.000 Albanian families have received government grants, and 100.000 have been employed.

“What we promise? In the next four years we will have not 100.000, but 130.000 new jobs. I promise that we will double the grants for the Gramsh farmers and all Albania”, Berisha declared.

Berisha calculates that the new fiscal package – which removes VAT of agricultural inputs and machineries for all businesses; income tax removal for persons who are paid less than 30.000 monthly; and removing tax obligations for the last three years of businesses who employ young people, will increase the number of businesses in Albania with 30% in the next four years.

“These are our calculations, and you should trust, because these are proven. There’s another alternative, which is a lie, a lie and only a lie”, Berisha declared.
