Linda Rama: Between Family, Work and Albania’s Future
The Albanian Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, used a meeting with the
Foreign Investors Association for appealing them to increase the
investments in Albania. Berisha also listed the advantages that the
Albanian government and the fiscal system offer to them.
Berisha stated that the Albanian economic model is free and functional, with one of the smallest administrations in the world, according to Berisha, and that has been able to preserve the economic growth thanks to the lowest fiscal burden that favors investments and businesses.
The Prime Minister added that the government will continue the policies for supporting the business, and he appealed the foreign businessmen to invest in Albania, especially in the energy sector, for which he listed some achievements.
“The government will continue the efforts so that the economic growth will continue. Albania has doubled the exports in the recent two years. We invite all foreign businessmen to invest in Albania. We must continue the efforts for further developments of the country. There are 73 hydro power plants under construction in Albania, and we have the potential to turn this country into a small electric power”, Berisha declared, by also mentioning the increase of tourism.
