Berisha: Kosovo-Serbia dialogue to continue

Prime Minister Sali Berisha declared in today’s government meeting that the situation in the Northern Kosovo is under the control of Kosovo authorities, and KFOR presence is a great peacekeeping and stability factor not only for Kosovo, but for the entire region.

“Our appeal is that these events should not block the negotiation process between both countries, since it is in the best interest not only for Kosovo and Serbia, but for the entire region,” Berisha declared, adding that this is the case for Belgrade to show that it has detached once and for all from the nightmare of a Greater Serbia. The Albanian Prime Minister also greeted the stance of the Serbian President, Boris Tadic about these events.

Berisha considers the events in Northern Kosovo as actions of a bunch of smugglers, adventurers, criminals of the idea for a greater Serbia, who threaten the Constitutional order of a free and independent country.
