Berisha: Inter-religious dialogue, a great value

Tirana held today the Assembly for Peace and Justice, where was present the Prime Minister Sali Berisha.

Berisha promoted the significance of inter-religious dialogue and understanding, and that of the human rights and freedoms.

“The inter-religious dialogue is a great value. I encourage inter-religious dialogue and understanding as values of peace. The universal human rights and freedoms are first of all divine”, the Prime Minister declared.

This way, Berisha supported the option of declaring the religion and ethnicity in the population registration questionnaires.

For defending his position, Berisha launched harsh critics against the Red and Black Alliance, which opposed this form of registration with all means.

“This is not only atavism, but also an abuse of the power given by the depoliticized post of the Vice Chairman of the High Council of Justice”, Berisha declared, referring to Kreshnik Spahiu, who last night at Top Channel’s program “Top Story” declared:

“If the Constitutional Court will rule that the nationality change and the manipulations were constitutional, I will resign”.
