The former Albanian Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, said that the current
government is a criminal organization and appealed citizens to arm
themselves against it.
“I appeal citizens to arm themselves for their safety. If you threaten the opposition with gangs, the citizens are ready to oppose you with guns so that you’ll have nowhere to hide yourself.The US citizens are armed. The citizens should be armed. This criminal organization in power cannot bring public safety”, Berisha said.
After this declaration of Sali Berisha, Minister Tahiri said that the Prosecution must take action.
“I don’t know how this parliament can continue working with a former Prime Minister appealing citizens to arm themselves. I hope that the Prosecution will call him because making a public appeal to incite violence against institutions is a criminal act. This is a criminal mindset. A scandal”, Tahiri declared.
As for the case of Emiljano Shullazi and the threats against Mynyr Koni and other businessmen were the focus of today’s parliamentary debates.
The Chairman of the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group, Edi Paloka, commented Gramoz Ruci’s refusal to treat this issue in Palriament.
“We cannot act as if nothing has happened when your real leader is arrested without the knowledge of your Prime minister”, Paloka said, while Prime Minister Rama reacted and said these are political accusations imposed by the old leadership of the DP.
“A person sentenced by the Court for slander is accusing me. In court he said ‘it’s not my fault, it’s a political matter given to me by the party’. I have challenged him to prove any of the slander he says”, Rama said, and accused them of trying to tie every criminal with politics, while the police is arresting them and sending them to prison.
As for the recent visit in the USA, the Prime Minister said that the White House does not invite incriminated people. The debate continued with other harsh rhetoric.
