Berisha: “Hoping for status this December”

In today’s meeting of the Council of Ministers, Prime Minister Sali
Berisha mentioned the EU candidate status of Albania, hoping that after
what he called blockage by Edi Rama, Albania will finally receive the
candidate status in December.
“We hope that the status will be received in December, and our appeal is that Albania fully deserves the status, so that our country will have hundreds of millions of EUR in benefits on all areas, which are very necessary”, Berisha declared.
The government leader did not spare irony about the meeting of the new government in Vlore, telling journalists that they should go to the beaches of the southern coastal city.
