Berisha: Highway, act of the nation

In Kukes, in support of Hasan Halili, who is running for a second
mandate with the Alliance for the Citizen coalition, the Prime Minister
Sali Berisha could not leave without mentioning the construction of
Durrës-Kukës highway, which he considered as the great act of the
nation that changed the life of the Albanians.

The Prime Minister said that this is not the only dream that has been realized. With the support of the Albanians, the Prime Minister said that the government has been able to achieve in a short period of time the membership of Albania in NATO, the visa liberalization and the improvement of the citizen’s life.

“We achieved the construction of the corridor of the nation; we were able to double the pensions, the wages and the economic assistance. We are the men and women of success that will turn into reality our European dream, the European Albania”, Berisha said.

The Prime Minister Sali Berisha invited his opponent, Edi Rama, the alternative of which he considers as the alternative of defamation and conflict, that has nothing to do with the Albanian’s moral.

“I invite Mr. Rama, as leader of an important political force, to present his alternative to the people, because for the insults, the calumny and the defamation, the Albanians, as any other nation, have only the rubbish bin to put them in. I guarantee you that no matter what calumnies and defamations he will use, I am not going to lose my time with him. I intend to spend my time only with you, with each other, with our problems, our commitment and our projects”, Berisha said.

For the Prime Minister Berisha, who dedicated this Wednesday to the residents of Kruma, Kukes and Rreshen, May 8th is not only a common election day, but also a big challenge for the Albanian democracy.

”I invite you to vote on May 8th the candidates of Alliance for the Citizen coalition; I invite you to vote as European citizens, so that each of us will add a brick to the democracy house that we are building, in order to make it stronger, more European, to highlight even more our ideals for freedom”, Berisha declared.
