Berisha: Government will keep working

This morning he published on Facebook a very calm comment about this move. Yesterday, Meta and Berisha had a 30 minute dialogue about this matter.

Berisha says that every political force can do choose whatever they want, and he considers as a large electoral responsibility the governing of the country during the electoral period.

One month ago, Berisha declared that the best math for the SMI was to run on its own for the elections.

“If I was the SMI leader, I would put the country’s interest first. SMI is a third country that can create a government. They have a governing tradition with the DP. Their relations with the SP are known, mostly based on extreme disloyalty”, Berisha declared on March 7th.

But now, after the agreement between the SP and the SMI, with changes that could include confidence votes against Berisha’s government, or the removal of the SMI Ministers, Berisha on his Facebook insinuates that he has made or he is doing these calculations.

The Prime Minister guaranteed the citizens that he will work for the country’s best interest, and says that the Constitution has clearly foreseen the institutional problems, and he says that it will be strictly respected.

This is also what the Parliament Speaker Jozefina Topalli declared in Shkoder. She said that DP can win the elections without the SMI.
