Berisha: Government expenses, online

After returning from Montenegro, Prime Minister Berisha spoke in the
Government meeting about the joint projects that Albania has with the
neighboring country, such as the deepening of the Buna River and the
opening of the border checkpoint in Zogaj.

“The government of Montenegro is engaged for the constructions at the Podgorice-Hani i Hotit road. In a few months, the distance between Shkoder and Podgorice will be shorter. We have agreed to review the project for deepening the Buna River and make it navigable”, Berisha declared.

The Prime Minister also asked his ministers to post the expenses of each ministry online, in order to serve transparency to the public.

“The Albanian Government is one of the few governments in the world that requires transparency of the expenses. I demand that the Albanians can read these expenses not only on the official book of the Ministry of Finances, but also on the web pages of each Ministry or agency”, Berisha declared.
