The entire family of the PM, Sali Berisha, except his wife, was involved today in two judicial processes for slander.

Initially at the Court of Fact, in Tirana, was held the third court session where the Prime Minister’s children, Shkelzen and Argita Berisha asked the Socialist MP, Saimir Tahiri, 800.000 ALL of moral damage.

Shkelzen and Argita Berisha claim moral damages and unjust psychological perturbation due to slander and offence, as result of untrue declarations on TV, during in the last year.

After the session was over, MP Tahiri gave this press release:

“In court I was presented to the claims and evidence presented by the Prime Minister’s children, and I wasn’t surprised that they brought only the family certificate, for showing that they are the children of the Prime Minister. I will present my arguments and why I believe even today that the Prime Minister and his children are involved in corruption. I will always say this in the court session, where I refused the request for reconciliation. Everyone has seen that the corruptive dirt of the government has come to surface and no one doubts this any more”, Tahiri declared.

In the meantime, in another judicial process, this time at the Supreme Court, has been suspended the case against Prime Minister Berisha, who is accused of slander by the Socialist MP, Dashamir Peza.

Peza filed a suit after Berisha declared to Rama on the Parliament, on 26 November 2009:

“Who can be called a man if he leaves the bed of his wife, in the middle of the night, at the house of Myslym Peza, and enters the bed  of Dashamir Peza, and obliges him to leave the house, in the middle of the night, all horrified”, Berisha declared.

The Penal College of the Supreme Court decided that the Prime Minister’s office in Parliament is not a penal act, regardless the accusations of slander, by Dashamir Peza.
