The success of the Albanian economic model in front of the global crisis
that has swept many developed countries was Berisha’s focus on the last
government meeting.
Berisha underlined that the growth of exports, compared to one year ago, is the indicator of the increased dynamism in the economy, which has worked well due to the measures taken by his government.
While listing these achievements, Berisha did not forget to attack the opposition, which, according to him, has been talking for years about an imaginary economic crisis. The head of the Albanian government announced another step that the government will take in favor of business and for eliminating bureaucracies.
“We must build quickly the official portal of our country, in which every businessman, same as in a mirror, will follow the entire route of his document, will monitor the stations and the decisions that will be taken about it. This will shed full light on the labyrinths of bureaucracy”, Berisha declared.
Among other topics, the Prime Minister also treated the environment issues, especially the alarming pollution of the waste materials all over the country. The head of the Albanian government promised to use an iron hand against this situation.
“The head of the commune and municipality, which is a strong center, which also has vices, has nothing more important than this, when on duty: cleaning Albania. If he cannot make it, we will put him a series of sanctions, because we cannot go on like this”, Berisha declared.
As for the project that the Prime Minister has called “Albania, a small energetic super-power in the region”, there were some decisions taken for the construction of new hydropower plants in different areas of the country.
