Berisha: “Education Minister must resign”; Brace: “Berisha, the last one who should speak”

The Albanian former PM, Sali Berisha, declared that the education reform
has left thousands of high-school graduates without universities.

“You remember how Edi Rama attacked private education. He promised many thing. I supported the private education and I stand to that, but what did Edi Rama do with the education system that admits only those who don’t fulfill any criteria?”, Berisha said.

“I demand the creation of a commission and the Minister must consider resigning and doing the reform once again”, he added.

As for the US Ambassador declaration regarding the organized crime in Albania, Berisha said that the “Al Capone” of Albania has turned into a PM and uses his post for empowering crime.

The Socialist MP, Erion Brace, answered to former PM Berisha and said that his reaction is closely related to the need to protect his financial interests in the private education system.

Brace, however, asked maximal commitment from the government and the Ministry of Education to resolve the situation. “But it is shameful that this problem is raised here by Berisha, same as Lulzim Basha did yesterday on Facebook, from Dibra”, Brace declared.
