Linda Rama: Between Family, Work and Albania’s Future The Albanian Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, asked the cabinet members to
carefully review any possibility to facilitate business from the
bureaucratic administrative burden. According to Berisha, more freedom
for business means more possibilities to increase production.
After the package for easing the business taxes, which will cost 200 million to the budget, the Prime Minister declared that removing obstacles to business increases employment possibilities.
“We must do everything possible to create jobs everywhere they can be. These are great chances, especially in agriculture. Who can believe that a young boy from Delvine can profit 100.000 EUR each year only from thorny bushes. We really must try hard in all areas”, Berisha declared.
The government approved the regulation for the implementation of the Urban Law amends, for which the Parliament demanded an accelerated procedure. Besides recognizing similar reward for any kind of construction parcel for owners, the law also cuts the time needed for a construction permit.
“399 were needed for a construction permit. It was the third most corruptible model of the planet, because you don’t rob someone only from the money, but also from its time”, Berisha declared.
