The bad weather and the low temperatures made PM Berisha to underline in
the latest parliamentary group meeting that the government will give
its best to help the people that have been blocked by the snow and that
the electric power import will continue, regardless the high price.

“We will make everything possible to avoid power cuts. We will buy electricity until we find a way to resolve the situation. At any case, the cost will be covered with budget interventions, because all other options gave been consumed. The truth is that despite the rain and snowfalls in mountainous areas, the dams are on their lowest levels in history”, Berisha declared.

Speaking about the Munich Conference, Berisha underlined that he had discussions about the Trans Adriatic project that will pass in the Albanian territory and that will bring 1 billion of EUR in investments.

“The Albanian Economy is very small, compared to the global one. But it was able to avoid crisis”, Berisha declared.
