Linda Rama: Between Family, Work and Albania’s Future In the second day of his official visit in Norway, Prime Minister
Berisha was received in by his Royal Majesty Crown Prince Haakon Magnus.
Berisha thanked the Prince for the warm welcome and the support that Norway has given to Albania for the NATO membership. The Albanian Prime Minister emphasized the bilateral cooperation in the renewable energy areas, information technology and the support for the forest program. Berisha highlighted the project of the Devolli Casceade, which is being implemented by the Norwegian company Statkraft in cooperation with the Austrian company EVN, as a clear indicator of this cooperation.
His Majesty the Crown Prince of Norway, Haakon Magnus, gave to the Prime Minister the greetings of the King who was outside the country. The Prince expressed his pleasure for the good cooperation between the two countries.
The Albanian Prime Minister then met the vice President of the Norwegian Parliament, Per-Kristian Foss. In this meeting they discussed about the political situation and the European integration process. Berisha informed the vice President of the Norwegian Parliament that the Albanian Parliament had just taken the decision for unblocking the qualified laws, the electoral reform and Parliamentary Regulation.
