Berisha attacks Rama from Korca

From Korca, where he was inaugurating a new road, the Albanian Prime
Minister, Sali Berisha, accused the Socialist Party leader, Edi Rama, of
blocking the integration process by not voting the laws that require
qualified majority.

For Mr. Berisha, regardless the situation that has been created, the opposition will not be able to block Albania’s EU integration.

“You will not be able to block Albania’s dream from coming true. You may slow it down, but you will never stop it. The opposition leader guaranteed his electors that he would vote the laws in Parliament and that he would not block the integration. They have voted no law; they are keeping the same position. This will slow down, but will not block the integration process”, Berisha added.

The Prime Minister also commented the propositions of the Socialist Party for amending the regulation. According to him, this is only a blocking of the Parliament.
